In collaboration with Quad66 (please subscribe to his YouTube channel!), we tested various motors that will pair well with the Gemfan 2512 tri-blades on 2S. He did an amazing job with using statistical analysis to objectively figure out which is the category-best amongst the motors.
We added a few more motors to the list and also disqualified some after initial testing reveals them to be either too small to swing 2512s, or too large/heavy for the application.
|GEPRC GR||1102||9000||Too small|
|FlyWoo Nin v2||1103||7650|
|Bard Lil Floaters||1103||8000|
|iFlight Xing Nano||1202||8000|
|FPVCycle||13MM||10000||Prototype, not in production|
The usual thrust and response time tests were performed on the motors, under the following conditions:
- Prop: Gemfan 2512-3, pusher
- Voltage: 2S (8.4V)
